Aparthotel City 5 is conveniently located in the new shopping and business area ANDEL CITY, surrounded with many pubs, restaurants and cinemas. And it is very easy to get to us by public transport and also many Prague´s siteseeings are easily accessible from there.

Aparthotel City 5 is conveniently located in the new shopping and business area ANDEL CITY which has a shopping mall and 2 multiplex cinema centers. In the mall you will find shops selling stylish clothes and electronics. The Andel mall also contains a TESCO superstore which carries and excellent selection of department store items as well as a food supermarket and is open till midnight every day of the week. The Andel metro station is a short walk (max 200m), and from it you have quick access to all of Prague including the largest Prague commercial centre NOVY SMICHOV with more than 130 branded shops and restaurants (www.novysmichov.eu).
Just around the corner from our hotel is the Metro (max.100 m) and Tram (max.200 m) station ANDEL. From the ANDEL station you have a short ride to the historical city centre – Tram stops are close to Metro stations so that in only a few minutes you can reach the Charles Bridge and other very popular Prague sights. However, for a scenic stroll to the Charles Bridge we recommend that you walk from the street that runs in front of our hotel (Vltavska) to the river Vltava. This street terminates into a street (Horejsi Nabrezi) that runs next to the river. Just turn left and follow the street while enjoying the view of the river until you reach the Charles Bridge – it will take you only about cca 20 minutes.
From the Andel Metro station, you can reach the popular tourist and entertainment areas of Wenceslas Square and Old Town. To get there just travel 3 stops to the MUSTEK Metro station.
Our location is very convenient for families with children– you can find a nice children’s corner in the commercial centre NOVY SMICHOV.

Located less than a block from our hotel is the best brewery in Prague – Staropramen - where you can attend the 1,5-hour tour. In the Andel area you can also find nice local pubs and restaurants with tasty local cuisine and great locally brewed beer – Staropramen or Pilsen Urquell. A short walking distance (cca 10 minutes) from our hotel you will come upon a nice villa called BERTRAMKA – the house where the genius composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived and composed while staying in Prague. Within walking distance from our hotel you there are so many interesting places to see, for example.: VYSEHRAD CASTLE (just over the bridge crossing the Vltava), the most famous modern palace in Prague – Dancing House...
